These original pieces of artwork are composed from photos and notes taken by Paulett on field trips and with the use of reference field guides to render the species correctly. After this information is collected, Paulett returns to her studio where she does rough sketches that are then composed into final renderings of wildlife art.
The artwork displayed on this web site is painted with gouache - an opaque designer watercolor and depicts Paulett's love for the prairies and Saskatchewan wildlife. As well, acrylics, pencil, and colored pencils are other medium choices for Paulett.
These pieces of original artwork make a pleasant addition to any decor and taste to enhance your home, office, restaurant, hospitals, banks, etc. or for gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, wedding, retirement or a special gift just for yourself.
Paulett does all her own matting and framing making it easy to accommodate the purchaser's taste in color decor.
